This is Odisha's typical food known as "Poda Aloo (burned potato) Tarkari"
Prepared : With burnt potatoes , Onion , green chilli and little rice water, salt.

This is the main food in Odisha and mainly the people going out for agriculture , construction or any other hard work, they will take it and it is very tasty and it is the best food to beat the hot sun and the summer.

Its very easy to prepare.

  1. Burn the potatoes
  2. Pilled out the burned potatoes 
  3. Take a bowl  and mix the pilled out potatoes and break it till it is soft.
  4. Add chopped onions , green chilies , Salt as per your requirement 
  5. Mix the rice water (boiled rice water ) to the above items.
  6. Serve it with rice to your family members.

How To Prepare Sagoo Kheeri ?

Sagoo Kheeri is sweet taken after the food. It is prepared from sagoo mixed with milk and little sugar to add sweetness.

Process to prepare Sagoo Kheeri
  1. Soak 1/4 cup sagoo for 10 min.
  2. Take 1/2 cup water in a heavy bottom pan 
  3. Add the washed Sagoo  and cook it  in medium flame for 5 min
  4. Once it is getting heated up , add 1 cup milk till the boiling sagoo became transparent or mixed with milk. Meanwhile keep stirring it uniformly to create complete transparent.
  5. Add jaggery or sugar according to your taste.
  6. Finally the tasty , sweet Sagoo Kheer is ready :)

Preparation Steps :
Following things should be followed to prepare Mooga Daali Bara. 
  1. Soak Moog Daal for 6 hrs, 
  2. Grind coarsely along with jeera, red/green chilli , green coriander leaves and salt.
  3. Make sure the the grinded stuffs should be thick enough i.e one should have the fine paste from the above grinding.
  4. From the above prepared paste make small - small balls ready for fry.
  5. Deep fry the above prepared small balls.
  6. Your Mooga Daali Bara is ready.
  7. Serve your prepared Mooga Daali Bara with your choice curry or interesting combination.
