How To Prepare Odisha Famous Traditional Fried Prawn Recipe !

Chingudi Patra Podda is well know recipe in Odisha. One can easily see this delicious recipe in villages,families living near sea beaches of Odisha and has now it has become so famous that most of restaurants and hotels in Odisha started serving this recipe to the travelers.

This is also known as Chingudi( Prawn) Podda bajja and since it is prepared using pumpkin leaves  
(Kakharu Patra ).

Steps are :
    1 .First ready with pumpkin fresh green leaves, wash it with water


    2. Wash your prawns and keep in a bowl type container

    3. Use 2 pumpkin leaves(kakharu leaves )  and put washed prawns



    4. Wrap the above tightly with leaf strips and add salt(1 pinch), turmeric powder( 1 pinch ), little red-chilli powder, tomato pieces and if possible you can add 2-3 green chili ;)



    5. Put the wrapped item over burning gas or stove, you have and cover with a steel container so that it will get cooked with the steam and gas, generated.

    Let the things be there for 10-15 minutes till you fee it is over. 

    Take out the burned wrapped item from the burner and place it on your plate.

    Recipe is ready !! Serve your family member and enjoy the most delicious prawn recipe of Odisha .
